Designing a fine dress watch is not easy. Perfection is in the details. The Time Only focuses on the essentials, bringing the watchmaker's ethos into an elegant three-hander. Symmetry. Linearity. Extreme finishing — never in demonstration.
The vast majority of components — with a few exceptions, such as the case and its crystals — are manufactured in the atelier, the traditional way and predominantly by hand.
Hand-wound, designed and manufactured in-house. Architecture recalls early 20th-century tourbillon movements, reinterpreted as a time-only calibre: a 12 mm balance under a mirror-polished steel bridge, regulated by a long index. 18,000 vph, in-house Breguet overcoil, 42-hour power reserve from a single barrel.
A 38.8 mm case, just under 10 mm thick — slim, balanced, discreet on the wrist. Sloping polished lugs keep the profile elegant and understated. Delivered in stainless steel, rose gold or platinum, on alligator leather with a pin buckle.
A ruthenium-plated, finely-grained base paired with circular-brushed rings and engraved black markings — anchored by a small seconds at 6 o'clock. In-house, flamed-blued lance hands add a precise, architectural touch without any visual noise.
Every specification earned by hand in the atelier, not sourced, not rebranded. The captions — Luca Soprana, Vaumarcus, N° — engraved directly into the movement.
Announced prices before taxes. Each piece is conceived, engineered and finished entirely in-house at SMA — produced slowly, component by component. Orders are limited and subject to a waiting list.

Customisation. We offer a curated level of customisation — cases in stainless steel, rose gold or platinum, and a selection of dial executions.
